Feathered Friends of the Zoo Club

Feathered Friends of the Zoo Club is a special group of people who help us provide the highest quality of care for our animal and plant collections, as well as, our efforts to be a center for conservation and a leader in global efforts to preserve threatened wildlife with annual gifts of $2,500 or more.

Their distinctive generosity ensures the Zoo's growth and future as a world-class center for conservation and a San Antonio treasure. They are committed to protecting the environment and supporting critical efforts that make a real impact on wildlife conservation locally and globally. All contributions through the Feathered Friends of the Zoo program go to the Zoo's Wild Expectations Annual Fund.

• Unlimited free admission for one full year (up to two adults and two children living at the same address)
• Free subscription to "Wild Times", our monthly newsletter
• Free subscription to "News From The Zoo", our quarterly magazine
• Subscription to "Wildlife Conservation Magazine"
• Invitation to Family Breakfast with the Zookeepers (held annually)
• Two tickets to the Annual Donor Dinner
• Preview of new exhibits before they open
• Name listed in the newsletter
• Name listed in Annual Report
• Name listed on the Wild Expectations Annual Fund Board (located inside the Zoo's main entrance)

ATTWATER'S PRAIRIE CHICKEN (Tympanuchus cupido attwateri) $5,000 - $9,999

• 10% discount on one facility rental
• A behind-the-scenes tour upon request for you and 5 guest

MANCHURIAN CRANE (Gurus japonensis) $10,000 - $24,999
($9,630 - $24,629 tax deductible)

ANDEAN CONDOR (Vultur gryphus) $25,000
($24, 575 tax deductible)

ANNUAL FUND DONORS

Annual Fund Donors who choose not to receive benefits in return for their gifts may deduct 100% of their contributions form their taxes.
