Join us for the wildest trick-or-treating event in town as Imperial Sugar presents the 26th Annual Zoo Boo! Children ages 12 and younger are invited to trick-or-treat throughout the Zoo on October 30th and 31st from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Don't forget to bag it! Trick-or-treat using reusable buckets, bags or pillowcases. Don't forget to join us for our annual Pumpkin Bash happening on Friday, Oct. 26th!

Celebrate Bat Fest at YOUR San Antonio Zoo!
What do bats have to do with ghosts, goblins and Halloween? Not much. Neither scary nor evil, bats save farmers BILLIONS of dollars each year! This month join us as we celebrate all things bat. From a special concert, to theme days and a lecture series with keynote speaker, world famous bat expert Dr. Merlin Tuttle, batty fun can be had by all!

As mentioned in our August E-news, our Japanese giant salamanders were on the move. They are now comfy in their new exhibit in Tropical Waters at the Tiny Tot Nature Spot! YOUR San Antonio Zoo maintains the largest captive group of Japanese giant salamanders in North America. Come by soon to get an up-close look at these amazing giants!
