ANNUAL FUND

HELP US KEEP THE HERD STRONG
The Annual Fund was created to provide unrestricted support for the Zoo. These funds help offset the Zoo’s $11 million operating budget. The San Antonio Zoo is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization which is operated by the San Antonio Zoological Society. The City of San Antonio provides 5% of our operating budget, so we must raise the remainder needed. Your support helps keep the San Antonio Zoo herd strong.

 

HONORARIUMS AND MEMORIALS

Remember the special people in your life with a gift to the Zoo in their honor or memory.

Your honorarium or memorial donation contributes to our Zoo Improvement Fund which helps us bring exciting new animals and exhibits to YOUR San Antonio. In return for your donation, we will mail a letter to you stating that your donation is tax deductible as allowed by law and a notice to your recipient or their family of your generous donation in their name.

The San Antonio Zoo is dedicated to saving wildlife and wild places. The San Antonio Zoo's mission is to provide:

• Conservation – all resources at our disposal for the conservation of the Earth's flora and Fauna
• Education – a diverse educational and high-quality recreational experience for all visitors
• Animal Care – the highest standard of care for our animal and plant collections
