26th Animal Zoo Run Relay

(4-member team • 2-miles per runner)

Race Begins at 6:30 pm
Check-in and Race-day registration 5:00 - 6:00 pm at Koehler Pavilion
Packet Pickup: Sep. 5-10
From 9 am - 5 pm at the Zoo's main office
Registration Cost:
$65/team (OR $16.25/runner) thru September 6th
$75/team (OR $18.75/runner) after September 6th
Trophies will be awarded to top three teams in each sub-division. All entrants will receive a T-shirt.
Lace up your running shoes for the 26th “Animal” Zoo Run, happening on Friday, September 10th in Brackenridge Park. Gather a team of four to compete in this 8 mile relay race benefiting YOUR San Antonio Zoo. Join us after the race for refreshments and awards.
There are several categories of competition. Four-person teams will run 2 miles each and will compete in one of eleven divisions: Church, Corporate, 18 and under, Masters (age 40-49), Military, Government Employees, Novice (first Zoo Run), Open, and Supermasters (age 50 plus).
Pre-registration is $65.00 per team before September 6, 2010. Participants receive a Zoo Run 2010 T-shirt, and trophies are awarded for first, second and third place in each division.

The 26th “Animal” Kids’ Zoo Run, directed by the San Antonio Roadrunners, takes place inside the Zoo on Saturday, September 11th. The cost is $15.00 per child. Children will compete in one of five age categories: 0-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, and 10-11. Children ages 0-5 run approximately ¼ -mile, and children ages 6-11 run ½ mile. T-shirts and ribbons will be award to every participant, and medals will be awarded to the top three girls and top three boys in each age division.
