WHAT'S HAPPENING AT THE ZOO?:

Its NATIONAL BIKE MONTH!

Throughout the month of May, bicyclists who visit the Zoo and show their bike helmet at the front gate will receive half-off admission. The Zoo has two bike racks located in the Zoo parking lot, and one at the Train Depot.

 

HAPPY NATIONAL BIKE MONTH!

                                           

 

ARMED FORCES DAY! MAY 19TH

Active or retired military personnel will receive half off Zoo admission on Armed Forces Day!

Please show your military ID at the gate.

 

 

This year, we are highlighting the ZOO's FANTASTIC collection of giant reptiles and amphibians. YOUR San Antonio Zoo has many of the longest, largest, and heaviest cold blooded critter in the Wold!

Look for this icon on your Zoo map for locations of all our Cold Blooded Giants!

 

Don't forget to check out the new KING COBRA exhibit located in the Reptile House!

 

And, look for Howler Monkey's in Amazonia!

 

 

BOTSWANA/ZAMBIA WILDLIFE ADVENTURE

With The San Antonio Zoo : OCTOBER 20, 2012

 

Join Steve McCusker, Director of the San Antonio Zoo, and partake in the mysterious, calming, unpredictable, stunning wilderness, and grandeur that is Botswana and Zambia!

 

This 11-day photographic safari is offered at a total land and internal air cost of $9,965.00, per person (based on double occupancy). A 4-day Cape Town extension is being offered from October 30-November 2, 2012, at $2,150 per person (sharing).
