Birthday Parties
Bring your friends for a REAL.WILD.BIRTHDAY at the San Antonio Zoo. YOUR San Antonio Zoo has prepared a number of party options from simple to extravagant, from self directed to staff directed; whatever your needs, let Education staff help create a birthday adventure you will always remember.
Zoo It Yourself Birthday Party
Any time, any day!
$135/members for 10 guests; $210/nonmembers for 10 guests; Extra Guests: $13 each
Want to lead your own safari? Sign up for a Zoo It Yourself Birthday Party and receive a packet containing: 10 admission tickets, 10 invitations, 10 vouchers for a novelty ice cream, and a coupon for a birthday surprise from the gift shop. Please allow 10 days to receive your packet by mail.
$350/member; $450/nonmembers for 20
guests; Extra Guests: Child $12 each; Adult $10
It’s a jungle in here, so join us for a wild adventure and celebration. Package includes a reserved party space for up to 20 guests, invitations, admission into the Zoo, birthday cake and ice cream, an up-close animal presentation by the birthday hostess, trip to feed the fish or goats, and a special gift for the birthday child.

Discovery House Birthday Extravaganza
1st to 5th birthdays only
$700/members; $850/nonmembers for 20 guests
Make your child’s birthday a very special celebration. Enjoy private use of the Discovery House, pizza, cake, ice cream, and an animal presentation during this after hours event.

Enchanted Evening Celebration
$375/members; $475/nonmembers for 15 guests
Extra guests: $25 each
You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy this celebration! Bring your birthday person and friends to explore the Zoo at night when the gates are closed and the animals begin to prowl. Staff will guide you through the Zoo and share interesting facts about the animals before enjoying ice cream and cake with your guests. Call 210-734-7184 ext 1501 for details.
